Clinical Training Opportunities Available in Psychiatry at The Menninger Clinic
T
he Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine offers child and adolescent advanced residency at The Menninger Clinic. The residents rotate through Menninger's
Adolescent Treatment Program, where they follow patients during comprehensive assessment and treatment up to six or eight weeks or longer.
Department faculty assigned to leading and consulting include Drs. Elizabeth Newlin, Efrain Bleiberg, Carla Sharp and Peter Fonagy.
General Psychiatry Residency
A variety of research opportunities is available for clinical and basic neuroscience research. The Resident Research Track may apply to the third and fourth year. Candidates are identified during the interview process, orientation, PGYI and PGYII.
