Continuing Education at The Menninger Clinic
Introduction
The mission of the Menninger Staff Development and Education Department is to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals through the development of professional continuing education activities.
The Continuing Education Program coordinates conferences, workshops, regularly scheduled educational activities, lecture series, joint-sponsorship activities and enduring materials in compliance with the Essential Area and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, as well as accreditation criteria for:
In conjunction with the Menninger Continuing Education Committee, Staff Development and Education personnel identify, develop and present programs of significant value to The Menninger Clinic’s healthcare professionals. The committee continually assesses the impact of its activities through quantitative and qualitative methods to ensure that the educational goals are met.
The result of these educational activities is to improve patient care by maintaining, developing, or enhancing the skills, knowledge and professional performance of physicians and other healthcare professionals.
